Content structure

Two ways to learn

EasyKnow combines broad subject explanations with focused answers so visitors can begin from either a topic or the question they actually have.

Commonly asked questions

These pages answer questions that people commonly ask about a subject. Question-focused pages contain at least eight substantial paragraphs and may use multiple sections where additional structure helps explain the answer clearly.

Keep exploring

Every subject can lead to more questions.

Every encyclopaedic subject has eight highly relevant question-focused pages underneath it. Each question has its own dedicated page, giving readers a straightforward way to explore the same subject from different angles.

This structure connects broad explanations with focused questions. A visitor can stop after understanding the original subject or continue into dedicated pages for more specific information.

The result is designed to support both quick learning and deeper exploration without requiring visitors to know every relevant search term before they begin.

Connected knowledge

A connected knowledge network

EasyKnow is designed so that its pages do not exist as isolated destinations. Subjects, questions, categories and internal links work together to give readers multiple ways to move through the collection.

Subjects connect to subjects

Related terms can lead directly to their own dedicated explanations, allowing readers to move naturally from one area of knowledge to another.

Articles connect to questions

Each encyclopaedic subject can lead to focused question pages that explore important or commonly asked aspects of the same subject.

More pages create more paths

As the collection expands, additional subjects and questions create more opportunities for readers to discover related information.

Reading experience

Designed to be read

The objective is not simply to publish more words. It is to organise useful information in a form that people can actually use.

Useful detail

Pages aim to provide enough context and detail to explain the subject properly without adding unnecessary material simply to increase article length.

Consistent presentation

A consistent visual and structural system makes it easier to move between articles without having to learn a different interface on every page.

Clear navigation

Categories, search, questions and internal links provide several straightforward ways to reach information and continue exploring.

Behind EasyKnow

Fast, lightweight and independent

A simple publishing architecture

EasyKnow has been built using HTML, CSS and JavaScript with an emphasis on speed, simplicity and efficient delivery. The website does not depend on a large application framework simply to display its encyclopaedic content.

The pages are designed to remain lightweight and straightforward so that the content stays at the centre of the experience. A simple technical architecture also avoids unnecessary layers of software between the visitor and the information they are trying to read.

The search functionality is kept separate from the core publishing architecture, allowing the encyclopedia itself to remain a lightweight collection of pages rather than requiring a complex application simply to serve its content.

Measurement

Understanding how the site is used

Google Analytics is currently the only third-party measurement technology included in the website.

It is used to understand what types of content visitors are looking for and reading, helping identify opportunities to improve content, navigation and overall usefulness.

How it is being developed

AI-assisted development, human direction

Building at a larger scale

EasyKnow uses artificial intelligence-assisted content generation as part of its development process. AI makes it practical to prepare large amounts of consistently structured educational material, particularly when the objective is broad coverage across many areas of knowledge.

The purpose is not simply to produce as many pages as possible. Content needs to fit the structure and purpose of EasyKnow, while decisions about subjects, organisation and presentation remain part of the project itself.

This combination makes it possible to work on a much larger scale than would be practical if every page had to be produced entirely from scratch by hand, while retaining a consistent structure and focus on readability.

Long-term approach

Responsible use of technology

The long-term objective is to use modern technology responsibly to make it practical to build a broad knowledge resource while maintaining a consistent experience across the website.

A knowledge resource that keeps growing

EasyKnow is designed as a long-term project without a fixed final size. Every new subject adds another explanation, every new question adds another potential answer, and every new internal connection gives readers another route through the collection.

The objective is not to claim that every question has already been answered. Instead, the project is intended to keep expanding so that more subjects, terminology and commonly asked questions have clear starting points available to people looking for them.

Using the information

Information and responsible use

An educational resource

EasyKnow is an informational and educational resource. Its articles are intended to help readers understand and explore subjects, but an encyclopedia should not automatically be treated as a substitute for professional advice, specialist research or authoritative information.

Check important information

For health, medicine, law, finance, taxation, regulation, cybersecurity, safety and other consequential subjects, information should be checked against appropriate current and authoritative sources whenever accuracy or currency is important.
